Job Description

SAP Analytics Intern – Finance ERP team

Sofia, Bulgaria | Fixed-term contract (6 months) | Full-time

About our team

SumUp is one of Bulgaria's leading fintech companies, with 2024 revenues exceeding BGN 400 million and a team of over 450 professionals supporting more than 4 million merchants across 37 markets worldwide. Our ERP team sits at the heart of that — providing the finance platform that powers everything from tax reporting to investor insights, and the analytics that help our leadership make confident, data-backed decisions. As an SAP Analytics Intern, you'll get hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and SAP S/4 HANA, working directly alongside experienced specialists in a fast-paced, genuinely international environment where you can contribute from day one.

What you'll do

  • Create and enhance dashboards, reports, and applications in SAC to support management decision-making
  • Collaborate with Finance and Operations/Logistics stakeholders to gather requirements and validate data
  • Monitor daily jobs, maintain existing scheduling, and fix and re-run any failed processes
  • Manage user authorisations — setting up new users and removing access for leavers
  • Maintain master data accuracy and provide first-level support to Finance and Logistics teams
  • Prepare technical documentation, including process flows and "how-to" guides

You'll be great for this role if you

  • Are completing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Have exposure to Business Intelligence or analytics tools through coursework or a previous internship.
  • Enjoy data analysis, spotting trends, and translating numbers into meaningful insights — with a sharp eye for accuracy and completeness.
  • Have fluency in written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate clearly across teams and functions.
  • Are comfortable working in a fast-moving, multinational environment, managing multiple tasks and deadlines without losing focus.
  • Bring a curious, proactive mindset — eager to learn SAP products from scratch and not afraid to ask questions to deepen understanding.
  • Are proficient in Excel and aware of project management principles such as timelines, deliverables, and documentation.
  • Are a strong team player who can collaborate comfortably with colleagues at all levels.
